Privacy Policy

Our Approach to Your Privacy

At Growindays, we believe that trust is built on transparency. This policy is designed to walk you through how your information is handled from the moment you arrive on our site, through any purchase you make, and beyond. We want you to understand not just what data we collect, but why it’s necessary and how it flows through our systems to provide you with a seamless shopping experience.

Information We Gather During Your Visit and Purchase

The type of information we collect depends on how you interact with our store. When you make a purchase, the buying and selling process requires us to collect the personal details you provide, such as your name, address, and email address. Even if you are simply browsing, our systems automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address. This helps us understand technical details about your browser and operating system, which in turn allows us to optimize your experience. Additionally, with your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

How Your Data Moves Through Our Systems

Your personal information is used for specific, clearly defined purposes. When you provide details to complete a transaction—whether to verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery, or return a purchase—you are giving us implied consent to collect and use that information solely for that specific reason. If we ever need your information for a secondary purpose, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or give you a clear opportunity to decline.

You remain in control. If you change your mind after opting in, you can withdraw your consent for us to contact you, or for the continued collection, use, or disclosure of your information, at any time. Simply reach out to us at [email protected]. There are two limited circumstances where your information may be disclosed beyond these purposes: if we are required to do so by law, or if you violate our Terms of Service.

The Role of Our Partners and Service Providers

To power our online store, we rely on a trusted network of partners. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application, residing on a secure server behind a firewall.

When it comes to payments, if you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card data. That information is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only for as long as is necessary to complete the transaction, and is deleted afterward. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. These requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. For more insight, you may also want to read Shopify’s Terms of Service (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) or Privacy Statement (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).

In general, the third-party providers we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. We recommend reading their policies so you can understand how your personal information will be handled. It is also important to remember that some providers may be located in or have facilities in a different jurisdiction than you or us. If you proceed with a transaction that involves a third-party service provider, your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) where that provider or its facilities are located. For instance, if you are in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway in the United States, your personal information used in that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

How We Protect Your Information

We take the security of your personal information seriously. To protect it, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. When you provide us with your credit card information, it is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. While no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our site uses cookies to function properly and to enhance your browsing experience. Below is a list of the specific cookies we use, so you can make an informed choice about whether to opt out.

  • _session_id, a unique token, sessional. This allows Shopify to store information about your session, such as the referrer and landing page.
  • _shopify_visit, no data held, persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit. Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.
  • _shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day. Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
  • cart, a unique token, persistent for 2 weeks. Stores information about the contents of your cart.
  • _secure_session_id, a unique token, sessional.
  • storefront_digest, a unique token, indefinite. If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

Your Choices and Consent

Your consent is the foundation of our data practices. We’ve designed our processes so that your consent is implied for the specific purpose of completing a transaction, and we will always seek your clear, expressed consent before using your information for a secondary reason like marketing. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected], and we will stop the collection, use, or disclosure of your information for those purposes.

Age Requirements

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority and have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

Updates to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so we encourage you to review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes, we will notify you here that an update has been made, so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
